You are not responsible for her hurting herself.
But you do need to get her to a councillor. Try to see one at school, most school have them if not the nurse should know of one.

Her frustration about her life and parents is what lies at the heart of this, she has to learn how to cope.

Good luck

Wow!! I don't know how you can live each day with these types of problems but my relationship started like that too not being able to talk to each other and its tough but adding all that onto your plate. I suggest you talk to her and try to get her into couseling tell her that its the best way for and the only way that she can really get better. when people cut themselves its because they need an out let tell her to let you in more or to talk to a professional because its hard to stop cutting once you start and she wont be able to do it alone. Tell her she needs help and tell her you looked up numbers of doctors already and be there for her whenever. she is going to need your help. But you have to make sure that she wants help first.

Don't wait around for a solution to come up, your girlfriend is a cutter and this could lead to some serious problems..she may even kill herself one of these days. Her parents probably have no idea about it..and even though she isn't' allowed to speak to boys..call them and be like listen..I know that you don't agree with your daughter talking to boys and so on, but there is a problem I think you need to recognize..and let them know what their daughter is up to...if you don't have the courage to call them up yourself let a close girlfriend of hers do it...the long and short of it is...DO IT NOW! don't wait around for her to hurt herself anymore, and don't try and figure out why it is happening. You g/f problem goes alot deeper than just cuts...if you love her this is what you have to do! She'll thank you later for it..

Good Luck!

Jeez! I am sick of these teenage "does he like me" "what do I do" questions.

It is a TEMPORARY little relationship and will be meaningless when you look back on it later in life (stupid even). Get over yourself and your insecurities. All you little teenagers are afraid of each other and care WAY TOO MUCH about WHAT OTHER PEOPLE think about you. When you are a real grown-up, you care less and have REAL relationships.

Thank you

that's hard...
first of all, i would say forget about her.
but then, i know what it's like to love someone so....email her!!! everyday!!! that's my answer.
and instead of just "seeing each other" organize something real cool planned long time ago( go to beach, make a party) so everytime you see her would be great! and then, tell her to stop hurting herself, it's not gonna change anything!!

She should probably go see a counselor/psychologist. It's quite possible the cuts have nothing to do with you or the relationship.

Why don't u send her parents anonymus letter stating what she is doing to her self and for them to checked it out. or call someone who is close who won't tell on u and tell them know.
