My favorite breed is the Boston Terrier. They are intelligent, playful, and very obedient. They are a small to medium breed, apx. 15-25 lbs. I have two that absolutely love people, they are gentle with kids, and will roughhouse as hard as you do. With short hair they require little grooming, and both of mine will allow me to cut toenails by myself.
