Good question. I don't think anyone knows what their purpose in life is.. My motto is to be the best person you can be and deal with life as it is dealt to you.. There will be good times and bad times. I am 49 years old and I have come to realize that my purpose has been to raise well rounded children. I have accomplished this and I am happy.. I don't know if that was my sole purpose in life but it was something that had a purpose. I believe that we all have a purpose, but it may take a life time to find out what it is. If your young then you may not know until you are quite older.. Be patient, and you will find out or at least feel that you have accomplished something worth while. I just don't think you will truly know what it is until you have been on the planet for a while. If everyone received or conquered what they think their purpose in life is at a young age then whats the use of living to 80. I think we all have a lot of purposes in life and they all come in different stages of our lives... You still have along time to find out what yours are... until then be happy..

I believe that the purpose for each of us is to be here so that God can experience God's self.
God is absolute. In this state there are no contradictions and no relativity. Everything is constant, absolute.
There are no temperature fluctuations, for instance. How would you know it's hot, if you never experienced cold? How would you know you're tall, if you never saw someone shorter than you? How would you know love if you never experienced hate or fear?
God created life as we know it so that God could experience God's self in the world of relativity through us, who are each an individuation of the whole.
I am not saying that God does not know who or what God is, but knowing a thing and experiencing it are two entirely different things.
We are simply here to experience life, so do it with all the joy you can! :)

maybe your purpose hasnt been identified to you yet because your not done with your life....You still have many years ahead of you, I didnt know what my purpose in life was until I had my children... I always wondered the same thing because I was never wanted by my parents as a child and It seemed that everyone I was in contact with's lives fail apart... I felt like it was my fault and questioned what real purpose I had in life, because all I seemed to know is that I ruined everyones lives, I was an unwanted pregnancy, I felt like a burden to my grandparents because I tied them down and they couldnt enjoy the remainder of their life child free. I never amounted to much, didnt do well in school, ran off at seventeen and got married and was divorced within seven months... Then I met my future husband, we got married and had kids. and I figured it out. My purpose is to show the love my parents never showed me ( I always thought it was my fault that my mom and dad didnt want me) My purpose is to be the mother my mother never was to me...and to have the family I had always dreamed of but never had myself...
Sometimes your purpose isnt revealed to you until later on in life,,, and you'll know when... because it will just hit you... it will come when you least expect it... but you are right, everyone has a purpose in life, its just a matter of time, and a lot of thinking about what you want out of your life and what you have accomplished, after you find this out you'll know what your purpose is.. Until then just live your life the best you know how and do the best you can...

That is a joke. You can say god has a purpose for anyone. As soon as that person finds something they want to do, then you say god meant for that. And if god has a purpose for everyone, that would eliminate freedom of choice, and freedom of thought.

Please do not feel you are alone. I'm afraid most of us live rather mundane lives. God has a plan for each and everyone and you are living it without even realizing it. I believe it's the lucky few who really have a specific purpose in life and know it.

The Truth... Your purpose it what you make it. You are the creator of your own life and experiences. There is no agenda for anyone.
Do what brings you the most happiness and joy. That is what all of use should be striving for. Whatever it is that brings you this joy and happiness is your purpose.

No, you have to be destined to do something. Whether it's to have kids that become real world icons or not. Your time is not long enough here, but the time you are here, you affect so many. Don't try to look for your purpose so har. Let it find you.
