You are letting your mind be in control rather than controlling your mind. You need to take back control of the thoughts your mind is thinking.
What will work is to give your mind something else to think about instead. Do "japa" (repition of mantra) as much as you can all day long. You say it quietly in your mind, but you can say it outloud for awhile until you get used to doing it quietly. There is a Christ mantra:
OM CHRISTAVE NAMAH
It means "Salutations to the Christ"
This will purify your mind and fill it with the energy of Christ. Over time, your sexual energy will diminish and eventually stop thinking. You need to also pray to Jesus to help transform your sexual energy to pure vital energy.
Also if you watch too much TV, you are contributing sexual thoughts for your mind because there are a lot of sexual images and shows. So it is a matter of being selective of what you are feeding your mind because our minds attach to things easily.
Don't beat up yourself. Just love and accept yourself unconditionally without judgments. This is the nature of living in physical 3D reality and trying to live our lives spiritually. So I totally understand.

This is a tough one. Are you a man or a woman? It may be harder for men.
First of all, although we all tend to feel guilty about sex, do you think your masturbating is high on God's priority list for you? How about how you love your neighbors, your family, yourself? Whether you're honest or not? Whether you have faith or anxieties--or even if you get anxious about your anxieties? (!) Now if you were seducing your girlfriend (boyfriend) or cheating on your wife (husband), that might be higher on God's priority list for you.
That all said, I've heard one of the best ways to defeat a habit is to substitute it with another habit. When you're tempted to masturbate, you might pray, or read, or do housework, or write in a journal about your day.
God loves you whether you masturbate or not. Trust yourself to him, and in time he may help you defeat this. But don't give this problem more time or concern than it deserves.

Good real-life question! Pray and seek to arrive at the place where it sickens you. Really all sin should have this effect on us, and it will if we think about it from God's perspective. Don't get mankind's perversions of sex mixed up with the real thing, though. Sex in marriage is wonderful. The rest of it is just Satan's counterfeit designed to detract from the real thing.

did christ tell you it weas wrong himself,and if not,who told you?,let me guess,...a catholic.But if you truly found him,do keep the sabbath as a rest day,which is actually saturday,do you abstain from unclean animals and shellfish,do you give 10 percent tithe to the church,do you witness his works,.If you break any of the commandments or levitican laws,then I would not worry too much about masturbating

There's is no reason for you to stop masturbating just because you belive in God. Practically everyone masturbates and God isn't against it. The only reason you should cut back on masturbating is if it's interfering negatively with your everyday life.

It is not healthy and almost impossible to stop masturbating, and for you Christians sex before mariage is bad, so just stay away from that and don't worry about masturbation.

If U really want to stop doing that all you have to do is pray for strength to withstand that spirit that is making you do so and every time you get the urge to do that just start to pray and the desire to do that will soon flee from you.

Pray before you masturbate. Knowing that you have talked to God, and that he is watching you may be motivation enough to stop.
