The brewery actually started in 1852. Became Anheuser-Busch in 1869 when A Busch bought half the business. The "A and Eagle" symbol was first used in 1872.

Bud was born in 1858, Miller on the other hand just celebrated there 150 b'day. It was born in 1855.. They say that older is better and in this case it is!!!!

I don't know the answer, but I am 37 and remember passing the
Budweiser place when I was very young. I am sure it's much
older than I am.
