I have to write a letter to support my recommendation for a salary increase for a preschool teacher. I would like an example of a letter to use.

Here's an example ...

Dear (Name),
I'm writing you this letter in support of my request for a salary increase for my position as a Pre-School Teacher. It has been my pleasure to be part of an extremely supportive and goal oriented staff and as requested I respectfully submit the following information.

(In this paragraph provide qualitative information such as the improved quality of instruction you've introduced to the children)

(In the second paragraph provide quantitative information such as what other Pre-School Teachers are earning with similar experience and qualifications)

The letter should be one page with the final paragraph (no more then two sentences) expressing thanks for considering a pay increase that will be mutually agreeable.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck! Working the Education Field especially the early education you do not do it for the money and there is usually not alot of money to go around any way. Your pay is given mostly in a child's smile and picture I should know I worked as preschool and child care teacher for over five years.
