A rebound relationship is one where one of the people just broke up with someone else and haven't had time to get over that relationship - so they try to fill the loss of the other person with this new one.
They NEVER work out - so if you're in one, get the hell out now!!!

It's the new relationship that suddenly pops up after the end of a previous one. How do you know it's a rebound? Ask yourself why you're even in that relationship so quickly after the end of the last one.

a rebound relationship is when u date someone after you broke up with someone you loved and cared for or maybe they left you. guys do that cause it keeps there mind off the chic they loved long enough to get over her. the rebound relationship usually doesn't last but every once in a while it does.

Well a rebound relationship is one you get into after getting out of a very serious one or a marriage even!! You tend to fall for this person very quickly!! Even if its not right you tend to let your feelings get too much because you are hurt after the last one!! When i got separated in my marriage the first guy i dated(rebound guy) i feel for him head over hill in no time flat of course he was just playing games and i got hurt but its cool!!

You know you are not in a rebound relationship when you aren't constantly comparing the new person with the ex. Also you should be constantly thinking about your ex, and not jealous or wondering if your ex has found someone.
Basically just signs that you are "over" your ex.

When someone breaks up with someone and it takes alot out of them and they are started dating again to get over their past relationship. If they talk about their ex alot and tend to compare you and things to their ex you could be in a rebound relationship
