She is never named, (to my knowledge) but it would have to be Moses' Mother. The Daughter of Levi. Because her only priority in life was to save her son. She was a pretty cool and unselfish Mother!

Favorite character in the bible would have to be Mary Magdoline because she was the first person to see Jesus resurrect. She is also the person from the bible that I find myself talking the most about. Well female that is

I think I have two: Esther & Mary (the mother of Jesus). Esther because she nerver bettrayed God even as queen of Medea & used her position in the Medean court to make life with Jews better even while under the rule sof the Medes.

Mary just because she was the chose one to carry, nurture & raise the savior of the world.

Ruth is very close to these as well because she left her home & her previous pagan life to honor her mother-in-law and help care for her, and was rewarded by being one of Jesus' ancestors.

Mary Magdalene, because she had the courage to make it obvious (if not outright state) that she was Jesus' follower during his crucifixion, while Peter denied even knowing him. That takes balls. I'm not even sure if I believe in the stuff she stood for, but you've still got to admire her.

That, and she's deliciously mysterious. She's become such an enigma that it's hard not to be fascinated with her.

Mary Magdalene because she is portrayed as very being very sexy.

Just kidding! I'd say Esther because of the way she was willing to sacrifice herself in order to save the people of Israel from a conspiracy that would have had them all killed. Anyways, she ended up alive and did save Israel PLUS the conspirator ended up EXECUTIONED.

Ruth is. It clearly states in there that she is with a woman and will return to her. Seems most people don't like to mention that part of the bible.

The other Mary.
She was interesting. She had so many problems yet Jesus forgave her for everyone. She also was the most faithful to him. Mabe it's just me but the other Mary is my favourite.

Hope I Helped!

Good question!

That would have to be Noah's wife.
For being the second mother of humanity and putting up with her drunken oaf of a husband!

I can't remember her name... I think it was in the book of Judges. She lured the general of the apposing army into her tent, gave him warm milk to drink and played music for him. After he fell asleep she drove a tent stake into his head. Damn, that is my kinda woman!
