So here's a school-university poll:
Which was/is better, school life or university life? From all aspects:
-Freedom
-Academic performance
-Social life
-Lifetime friendships
Don't limit your answer to the above categories. For me:
-I like the freedom and maturity in university
-I was much better at school (from straight A's to C's)
-Virtually, the same
-My school friends are much closer to me than my university friends. I have a friend since the 9th grade, and I'm a junior now (3rd Year)
What about you?

I had way more freedom at university because I lived independently and could come and go as I please. From an academic perspective, I was only responsible to myself at university, so if I skipped class or didn't hand in assigments, my parents never knew! I loved being responsible for myself.

My grades were better in high school because I felt pressure to get good marks and get into university. At university, I had already achieved my goals and let my marks slide in order to have more fun!

My social life was pretty wild in university- I was out on the town at nightclubs most nights! I drank and partied all the time, with totally random people, and ended up in some pretty weird situations. In high school I didn't drink until the 12th grade and always partied with my group of friends, so it was less crazy and less frequent!

I think I will be friends with my high school friends forever, but it was easy to lose touch with my university friends because we were all from different places and all moved away at the end. With my high school friends, we all have hometown connections.

But overall, I definitely prefer university (which is why I'm going back for a Masters!)

paintings force! I stayed in my cafeteria interest from at the same time as i replaced right into a senior in college. although, I now help with salad prep (i love my paintings and my boss), yet I nevertheless do what I used to do on the weekends, it really is what's termed a "runner", or someone who wipes tables and keeps the salad bar, espresso, and ice cream machines, between different issues, in inventory. I also wipe tables. in truth, I merely did that this afternoon. :)
