I have curly hair too, its beautiful, but too much work to leave curly as it frizzes. I have found that the most important thing when selecting a flat iron is the wattage. If the watts are too low, ur hair will look frizzy and crinkly instead of smooth and sleak. Those only work for someone that alread has straight hair. What I use is a vidal sassoon flat iron. It is 170w. On the package it is labeled as 170w which means 170 watts. My hair gets so straight, i dont burn my hair or myself. Before I do this, I blow dryer my hair with a blow dryer that has a comb on it, it helps get ur hair straighter quicker.
Please do not go out and buy into the hype ans spend a fortune on those flat irons. I purchased this one at walgreens for $30. Also you can find it at ULTA. Basically the wattage is the main thing to look at. Good luck! :)

Chi is a very good brand. I have a few of the hair styling products, and my friend has one of their flat irons. However, there's one that's a lot better. It's a blue and black I think. It has tiny bristles on the iron that gets out any kinks and tangles you may have in your hair. I have frizzy, curly hair and it gets it stick staright and very soft. It costs about $80 USD I think.

Well, it is said that yes, they are the best. But I think a couple people out of a million weren't satisfied. Some say that the sedu is even better than the chi. But I don't know, I was gonna buy a GHD, but my friend recommended another iron, so I'm out for that one now. :]

There are a few good brands you can buy... Chi is one of them. The main thing to do is make sure it is ceramic (much better for the hair). There are ceramic plated that are cheaper.. but the ceramic ones last longer.

I actually have run across this amazing web site and then bought one there. Not extremely remarkable regarding their delivery service speed but did save approximately 65% and pleased to find this. The quality is actually fine and also until now never find any issues.

they work very well. It makes your hair nice and soft plus straight. But anything with a ceramic plate is good the metal breaks off your hair.

CHI flat irons create salon-straight hair that's soft and silky.
