Celebrate your birthday number 7 and invite her!!! and of course her friends in order to have her ashamed If she ever attempt to do that again... (joking)

I am 32 and my mom is the same... And sadly but I think I would do the same with my girls...

My mother still treats me like a child and I am 24, it may never stop you just have to learn how to deal with it. Parents are just like that they want to care for you, keep you out of harms way, and make sure the things you do are the right things. Just ask her maybe to give you a little lead way. And this also depends on how old you are too. If you are still a teenager then what she is doing is absolutely correct. Sorry to say.

Are you over 18? Are you living in her house? Does she still pay your bills? If yes to 2 out of three she can treat you like you six. If your acting like and adult or young adult she needs to let you grow up. Be a more responsible person and she will treat you as such. I am almost 30 and my mom questions how i raise my son so i dont know it will ever stop just get better

Stop acting like a 6 year old. lol kidding. It depends on how old you are, but you should engage her in a conversation that will make her think... and realize that you are growing up and thinking as well. The meaning of life, commentaries on news and what is going on in the world... anything really that doesn't revolve around you.

I'm in my 50's and my 73 year old mother still treats me like a child. I keep reminding her that she has her way and I have mine. Neither way is wrong. They are just different. But... she has her way and it is the only way. When you find out how to stop this, let me know.

try to talk to her. pick a time when shes not busy or when shes in a good mood, a relaxed mood if i should say meanin when shes not pressured by work n such. open up the subject by saying "mom i love you and i know u love me so much more but sometimes i feel like u will never let me grow up." let everything out in a sweet day, dont hurt her feelings and respond to what she says. tell her that it is time for her to let you go and give u some space and privacy, your not a little kid no more. and mention that it doesnt mean u want her out of ur life, u still need her advice and her presence by your side....

First of all, how old are you? If you are still under 18 and living in her house and you are still her responsibility, I am sorry to tell you there is nothing you can do. Because mothers do that especially when you are living under the roof. But if you over 18, you can try talking to her but it might do any good. At least try it. Good luck.

Well, you have a mother to protect you. Think about what it would be like if you had no one who loved you or would take care of your best interests. Just chill. Show her a little respect and tell her you love her and she'll come around. Maybe she's having a hard time with something. Don't be so selfish!
