When I had mine out, I ate a lot of mashed potatoes, oatmeal, beef or chicken broth, refried beans, applesauce, and yogurt.
Luckily, the discomfort of chewing only lasted for a few days. Depending on the type of extraction you have and the type of impaction, you should be able to eat soon.

I ate a lot of tomato soup, broccoli and cheese soup, potato soup, and soft risotto rice. Mashed potatoes are really good because you can vary the flavor some....garlic at one meal, cheesy at another, mixed with gravy for yet another. Stuffing (or dressing, whichever you call it) is also really good and warm. You can buy different flavors of Stove-Top and vary it up some, too. Good luck! : )

I've had my wisdom teeth pulled and I actually eat some baby food, yes some of them are really good. Oatmeal, malt o meal. youcan try the nutrient drinks. soup also works especially the cream kind. You can alo puree your own food in a blender.

Get a blender, and make this mixture up...my kids loved it when they had thier jaws wired shut from sugery...
One cup of milk
One can of spinach
One cup of cooked potatos
One tablespoon of sugar
One cooked carrot or beets
Mix up in a blender...then if needed for a straw, to suck through, add more milk and blend again.
You can try some warm applesauce, with a bit of cinnamin in it, warm and delicious...
I wish you well..
Jesse

Canned or homemade cowders. I get teeth pulled all the time, and I know that it is hard to find pureed food that has alot of flavor. Chowders are rich and creamy, and they fill you up too!

Split pea soup--it looks gross but tastes pretty good! Many baby foods taste pretty good, too. Potato soup, too. My Mom put EVERYTHING in the blender when my brothers were babies--from soup to casseroles!

I think everyone here has said it all.... mashed taters, pureed veggies, soups, juices, squishy squash, etc.
If you don't feel like cooking, you can always drink some milk.
