Yes we need money to live, but that is beside the point, because just look at all the ways to earn money and all jobs hurt someone one way or another, so all money is evil, who invent this system anyway
“Hurt as used here is not limited to injury”

My guess is that you are very smart, but consider what you do for a living and how you spend, buy, use your money, then what part you have in destroying society, money is an invented commodity, its not naturally grown, so where did it get is it worth and who placed value on it, it is merely an accounting practice

To flesh out the metaphor here ... money may be the root of evil, but it still has to be watered and weeded and whatnot before it turns into a BIG EVIL PLANT! In a good person's garden, the root may stay just that, a root, under the ground and not becoming anything to be concerned about.

potential and reality are two different things. just because money encourages evil doesn't mean everyone will make those kinds of nasty choices with it. some will, some won't.

The love of money is the root of all evil. We need to have money to buy things to live. It's as simple as that. The problem comes when people begin to put money before God.

1 Timothy 6:10 tells us, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. It is throught this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs."

After barter system started giving problems because not every resources worth could be exactly determined for excahgne and people couldn't find a win-win exchange deal always. People's need started growing and it became pertinent that something common of value needs to be used, which can then be exchanged for the resources. Thence came money, history says it came from China. Yeah philosophically speaking money can be root cause behind spread and sustenance of evil. But actually the brith takes from our never-ending desires.. the very basic nature of humanity. .to want more.

The scripture says that the LOVE of money is the root to all evil, not the money itself. Stop speaking words without knowlege.

It's just the root. Judicious and proper use of monetary resources can bring greater good than evil. It is the love of money which is the root of all evil and not just money on its own.

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. I try to think of money as a tool, like wrench's and socket's etc. The BIBLE say's that MONEY anwereth ALL THING's. If you got a problem(car broke, need a new hat etc.) money is one of the answer's.

Your statement, "...money is the root to all evil", is not correct. Yhe Bible states, "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil". First Timothy Ch, 6, Verse 10.

umm LOVE of money is the root of evil. Not money in itself, because ungreedy people can use money for good purposes. Youve got the scripture all mixed up.

The LOVE of money is the root to all evil. Not money itself. It's not wrong to have money; where your treasures are, your heart is there also.
