If one could prove to you incontrovertibly that Jesus and God were all human fabrications, would you still believe? And why?

I know religion is based on faith, but that has nothing to do with what I asked. I simply asked if someone could prove religion wrong, would you still believe thats how things came to be. If you still say yes, you obviously dont care about the truth. If somebody told you a rabid pink bunny was going to try and eat you in your sleep, you probably would stay awake forever. Good luck with that.

But if I have proven that it is completely incontrovertable that Jesus and God do infact rule the world how is it possible to prove otherwise?

But to answer your question, if someone could prove to me that Jesus and God were human fabrications, no, I wouldn't believe.

Never going to happen.

So what's the point?

The evidence of God is right there and all around you,
it's called life.

We live on a planet teeming with life. Plant life with approximately 250,000 species. Animal life with over a million species. Scientist are learning just how complex life is. So complex that it requires design. The evidence of design requires a designer. Scientists are also learning the conditions for life, just how perfect conditions here on planet Earth are to support all this life.

To think, people believe this all happened by chance. Yes the odds are 1 in 1(with a billion trillion zeros behind it). Yes it is a belief by many that this all just happened by chance. That belief takes a greater faith than believing in a Creator. A virtual impossibility is an impossibility.

Yes. Because one cannot prove that someone that exists, doesn't! It is really mostly about faith. You might be tired of hearing that answer, but if it is what you hear most of the time, wouldn't you think that there must be something to it? I am not sure if you are a believer or not, but if not at least open your mind & heart and read the books of John & Romans in the Bilble. God bless!

No one can ever prove anything. It's all about faith. Even if I thought you proved it, it would only change my faith from faith in God to faith in your proof. No offense, but I would rather have faith in a perfect being than any human I know.
And I have to second those who say it's not possible. Read the book below- he tried to prove that Christian beliefs were all a fabrication. (here's a hint: he wasn't successful)

I think these 4 answers is pretty much a resounding yes to your question... They simply can't fathom the idea of a no god world, if even hypothetically. They are afraid of the thought, and it goes against everything they've been taught. which is why you get answers like "it can't be done". That's why.

I will never stop believing in my teddy bear 'Wuggles' no matter what you say! You are soooo mean to think that I could ever abandon Wuggles even if you proved that he wasn't alive and didn't talk to me.
Oh, wait a minute. You're not talking about my teddy bear are you? Sorry I went off like that.
