Dawn etal. is it easier to believe that you are just a biological substance or some one who can have thoughts and dreams and a family. Only God can make a tree and only God can make a Dawn.

We can't go it alone, we must have faith in God.

Yes, GOD Is Important To Me...Without GOD I Would Have No Strength Or Inspiration!....Therefore, I'm Never Alone...GOD Will Always Be With Me! (Hebrews 13:5)...........

God is important to me. I'm in the middle of studying different people's views on whether He is real and what His impact on our world is if He is real. No one can prove that God is real. There is a lot of logical evidence that would support the idea, but it is unprovable.
There is obviously more than just the physical dimension to this world, but the belief that this other dimension includes a deity requires faith. I personally find God to be an incredible source of strength and inspiration, as you say, and I think that the benefits of believing in Him outweigh the negatives even if He weren't real.

We do "just go it alone", I hate to tell you but the God you are leaning on for support more than likely does not exist. If you dig deep you might find that you are, and always have been, your own source of strength and inspiration. Give yourself some credit.

Yes he Is
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life

2nd Corinthians 3:5Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves;but our sufficiency is of God

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD,thoughts of peace, and not of evil,to give you an expected end.

Read your Bible everyday
Let The God that created Heaven and Earth Bless You
this is a continuous second by second, minute by minute, hour by
hour, day by day, month by month, year by year walk

Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light;it giveth understanding to the simple

Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten {70}

if by reason of strength they be fourscore years {80},yet is their strength labour and sorrow;for it is soon cut off,and we fly away.

So my point is why waste time when we know no one is getting out of here alive unless God says so, understand?

There are over one thousand God ordained atrocities in the bible including the slaughter of little children. There are over one hundred thousand mistakes, rewrites, interpolations, and contradictions. So lets see....., We've got a god that slaughters the objects of his loving creation because they have offended his ego or disobeyed his rules and then lies about it. I think what bothers me most is that that's OK with you. So what would it take for you to kill your own children? You say you couldn't kill your own child? Than how come your individual sense of moral obligation to your fellow human being is so much better than Gods? The god of the Hebrews WAS the Hebrews and it was written by the ancestors of those who now crash planes into our buildings. What better way to serve god than to be just like him.

God is the source of all goodness and blessings, and I couldn't even get out of bed to face the day without having faith and God. How terrible it would be to think you were all you had and this was going to be as good as it gets! I have a great plaque that reads, "God gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him".

it is possible to cultivate a source of strength and inspiration inside you on your own, instead of loooking to some higher power to do it for you. Do that, and the idea of a god seems inconsequential.
