Just like stripes going side to side on shirts make you look fat so does short hair. Long hair makes you face not show up as much as short hair does. With showing your face more with short hair it gives the appearance of being fat.

usually short hair goes good with square, heart, and some oval shaped faces
but it also depends on the hair cut
like if your face is fat
dont try and curl the ends out
because it makes it look worse

no i have short hair and everyone says i look like a stick, im also taller so it might make short people look fat

I think people with rounder faces should be very careful when deciding to go short with their hair. The wrong cut can make your face look huge (and chubby).

You can have long hair if your short but only to about where your bra strap is. And if you got the traditional bob cut, then yeah it can, cause it frames around your face making it more round.

I think it highly depends on the person. I'm fond of short hair on girls myself, but Im also fond of long hair... again it depends on who it is. keep in mind that you can always chop more off, but it takes a long time to grow back if you cut too much off.

i could stand to loose a few pounds( like 10) and my hair is shorter than it is in my avatar now, but i dont know that it makes me look any fatter lol
it is based more on the face shape i guess, if you face is already round then you have a few extra lbs. then yes i guess it could make you look heavier

No, but it does depend on a lot of factors, how thick your hair is, your bone structure, the shape of your face and head. It really depends on a lot of things. If you have thin hair, like not a lot, I won't, but if you have a lot of hair I might.
