The one guy is saying in Chinese writing thanks is "three characters xxx I don't know looking like down town" maybe for the sound the xi xie or sye sye is thanks too same as second chinese characgter is writing saying thanks is sye or xie and first is kan which means thanks. I can write god in Chinese but not how to say it. The one with the chinese is like the same as you say thankgiving as in thanksgiving day. I once tried to tell a kid over the phone how to write a message in chinese for his mother. he he he this is easy you know what it is proabaly jahoweh or something like that kan sye shr jah ho weh
Only Chinese has tones so each word has a tone and there are like four or five of them and you need to do each word with the right on or it means something entirely different. If you can use that writing in chinese you can get someone to say for you

That is sort of hard to translate as there is no direct translation... but there may be a transliteration that I am not aware of. I will check. In Mandarin, "Thank you" is "Xie Xie" in pinyin, pronounced shee-yeh shee-yeh. I will see If I cannot find some sort of idiomatic transliteration or something.

I'm no longer certain approximately the opposite 2 - I'd say '?????????????' (xie xie ni tune gei wo de dangao he liwu). Lit. Thank you for the cake and gift(s) that you just gave me. I've integrated 'you' and 'me' right here due to the fact that I expect that is what you imply.
