I think that he is trying to back off a little either because he got what he wanted, because of the distant, he is seeing someone else, or the fact that you were a virgin was a little heavier than he was ready for right now. Give him the space and maybe you will see that you also need some or he will come back after the breather. If he does break up with you than I am very sorry because I can see that you really care for him.

Well this can easily go one or two ways. Either he is smart, and realizes that his education or work is a little more important right now than his relationship with you. Its ok, dont feel bad about it. It means he has a good head on his shoulders, and wants to be a better man. And who knows, maybe he feels a little smothered by you and is in a nice way telling you, "hey, I need some space". Which is no big deal and is nothing to worry about.

Or he's an idiot and is seeing someone else and doesnt have the balls to tell you to your face. You said he is in another state, whats to keep him from having another woman there.

Eitherway, he was man enough to tell you that you shouldnt get too serious yet. I'm sure you can ask him why he said that. If it is that he just wants his space, or wants to focus on his work or education, respect that. It means you have a good man. If it is the latter, dump him. No guy is worth that BS.

Ask him what he means when he says " we should not get to serious yet"..that is the only way you can know exactly what he is trying to say. From there you will really know where you stand..also because he is in a different state alot of things could be happening. Why don't you pay him a surprise visit see how he reacts...see if he is hiding anything....if he starts to freak out and ask you why you are here and so on...worth a try!

well i don't think he wants to break up with you, but you guys did already sleep together so how much more serious is he NOT wanting to get? May be he feels bad for you being younger and you have lost your virginity and he fells bad cause you are younger. He might feel bad enough and just want to wait until you get married.

Absolutely! HE will. I hope I dint hurt your feelings, but he is just keeping you around as a safety net until he finds someone else. He possibly may be running a game with you by having another relationship or he is pursuing one.

He may not want to get too serious because he may not be sure that your the one. Stay with him and if he breaks up with you than you werent meant to be. If not then he does love you.

um. . .long distance relationships don't work out very well. my advice is to move to the same city and be with each other all the time. he will eventually break up with you if you keep the long distance thing up.

you basically have 3 choices.

a; stay with him and be tortured. even though it could just mean he doesnt want to like be married.

b; talk with him and ask him what he means. it could just be a misunderstanding.

c; if worse comes to worse. he is just using you for sex. stop having sex with him and then see what happens. if he complains tell him "see ya lata bye" cause he is just using u for sex. if he doesnt mind then no. hes a genuine guy.
