I looks like it may be part of her intestines. It's a stringy long chuck of flesh like stuff that is still connected down her throat. She is constantly coughing and gagging. I don't have the money for a vet. I tried to give her some aspirin, but I can't get anything down her throat. Can anyone give me some homeopathic remedies to help her recover. I really can't take her to the vet because I need to save to get my car fixed.

Is it safe to just clip this thing off? I mean the cat has been able to drink any water in four days. If it's his intestines, they'll grow back, right?

It sounds like a hairball.See if you can pull it out.If it is part of her intestines you will shortly know.
She may have eaten a mouse or something and what you see may not be her flesh, but the mouses.

It's still connected down her throat?! OMG - take her (or at the very, very least call) to the vet immediately!!!! They can work out payments, tell you a lower cost solution (animal rescue groups/shelters/vet schools/or the like), or may do something free just so she doesn't suffer.

Do NOT give her ANY pills if you don't know what you are doing (not to mention she is already gagging/choking) many drugs meant for people will kill an animal (BTW, Tylenol will kill a cat - I know this from years of having a sick cat) and what will be fine for a dog will kill a cat and visa-verse, not to mention the dosage will be completely incorrect and will likely kill them either way. ***Talk to a professional*** and then please... take her to a vet.

NEVER give a cat aspirin --it is poisonous to cats. As for what she coughed up, I'm not a vet, but coughing up intestines would be rather hard in terms of anatomy. At least, if they were HER intestines. But they could be from something she ate. Does she go outside? If yes, she might have eaten a small animal such as a mouse or chipmunk. My cats catch and eat mice, then cough up some parts they can't digest (YUCK!) Mouse Interstines and stomachs are often in this disgusting mess.

Aspirin for a cat, are you crazy. Use Tylenol or Motrin. If you have a bike maybe you can sell the car to take the cat to the vet.

Please take her to the vet. Some vets will let you charge and pay a little bit each month. If she's constantly coughing and gagging she's obviously in pain as well. It's normal for a cat to cough up hair balls but not something that looks "fleshy" as you described. Maybe a friend would loan you some money to take her. But please do.

Oh nooooooo! Cats can't have aspirin. They'll die. Oh no. Please take it to a vet NOW. I'm not yelling; just trying to stress the importance. That poor kitty has a serious problem. By the way, are you sure she/he doesn' t have a hairball problem? I know you're in a dilemma, but your cat needs a vet ASAP.

Almost definitely a hairball. Don't give your cat aspirin or any pills made for humans!

Go to the pet store and get some petromalt or other hairball remedy.

NEVER EVER give a a cat aspirin unless you want to kill it.

She needs to go to the Vets. If you are too broke, then take her to the nearest SPCA, they can help.

I don't know what she coughed up but for hair balls you can use petroluem jelly, just wipe some on her lips and she'll clean it off, that can help her get whatever it is the rest of the way up.
