Simple formula really:

L x L / A = P

P is the cat's pulse rate
A is the age of the cat and
L is the life expectency of the person trying to take its pulse (in seconds)

Example:
45 x 45 / 10 = 202.5 ! Never fails

OMG... I don't know what his pulse rate is.. but my dumb cat LOVES that. He's a little strange though. He'll actually wag his tail in front of me while I'm vacuuming so that I WILL do it.
