It only seems that way, because babies generally spend more time with moms, nursing, rocking, changing, holding.

Make sure Daddy gets quality play time with them every day. Even 30 minutes can make a world of difference.

Well, the reason is why children love their moms more then their dads is because of the biological bond. You have to remember, The kids were a part of the mom. They came out of the mom, so to speak. ( If there are any kids reading this..... talk to your parents.) The dads are only there for support. The moms fed them, supported them, protected them, while they were developing. The dads had very little impact while the kids or babies were being developing. After birth, the babies are able to identify their mothers more easily by their vocies .

well it depends on their childhood. As for me, my dad was always away and never live with me since I'm 13. We could onli visit him once a week or once a month. So most of my time was spent with my mom, and she brought us up without my dad's help. So I love my mom more than my dad. That's why it's depends on the environment where the child was brought up. If their father was always gambling or never stay with them properly or never care for them, they would surely love their mother more. I think that most of the young children love their mother more bcoz father is stricter, that's my opinion.

children... from the womb start having a connection with their mother from day one. The mother is the one that generally nurtures and loves the child. The child see's that the mother gives more attention and happyness than that of the father. Mothers are always going to be there to bandaid them up when they have a scratched need or something. It's just natural.

I think it's because mothers.."real" mothers will and have always done what they could for their own. They show love, affection, and they give good advice. They know what it takes to raise good kids. Some of the time..either the father is a loser..or he works too much and he's tired. It aint just young childrent hat love their mothers more..it's just MOM is MOM. There is no doubt about that.

Generally, because Mom is the caretaker, food provider, diaper changer, etc. while Dad is the one out working. Not always, especially these daysm but traditionally so. Small children spend more time in the company of their mothers, so they become more attached.

I don't think that's true in all cases. I think many children just see their mom as the nurturer and perhaps show more affection to their mom versus their dad. But I think it really depends on the family and the family dynamic.

They don't .... it's just that their Mom is there more (assuming you are talking about the stay-at-home mom), and has a more active role in their day-to-day care. Dads are kind of "invisible" since they spend most of their day working to support the family. They just don't get to spend as much time with him.

She is the nurturer and gives the majority of the emotional support. She also interacts more with the children than the dad does.
