I haven't researched my own opinion so I'll keep it to myself but here are some scriptures to look at in your search.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12
2 Kings 21:6
Micah 5:12
Isaiah 47:12
Ezekiel 13:18 & 20
Acts 8:11-24
Leviticus 20:27
Exodus 7:11
Revelation 9:21 & 22:15
Galations 5:20-21

I think Revelation 21:8 seems pretty clear to me.

We are fools to think that the here and now is all there is. The Bible talks of seers, witches, demons, angles and those who have what today we call physic abilities. Some are charlatans, others deal in a world of darkness that they know very little about and are actually pawns themselves.
The Book of 1 Samuel, King Saul sought to speak to the prophet Samuel who had died. He sought a medium, or physic to contact him....we know her as the witch of En Dor.
In the new testament, the book of Acts, chapter 16, a girl who followed the apostles around, proclaiming that they were sent from God and telling everyone about them. Even though it would seem that she was doing a good thing, it was taunting, sarcastic, mocking. She was a physic.....once they spoke with her, they delivered her from a spirit of divination and the ability left her and the man who made his living off of her talents became very angry with them. The girl, however, was set free.
There is a book call Setting the Captive Free. I believe the authors name is Rebecca Brown. You might look at this and find some answers to your questions. This is no new thing, and no, we do not have all the answers. You can search the scriptures and see many accounts of paranormal activity, but you will also see that as truth is revealed, those that practice these things are changed and no longer practice them.

True Christians don't speak to ghosts or have psychic powers. There are no scriptures that espouse these satanic powers in any Christian.
In fact quite the contrary as noted in Leviticus 19:26, 31 and 20:27, (to give the only one I can think of right off the top of my head).

Silva Brown is an entertainer, plain & simple. There is no such thing as ghosts, and no such thing as psychic powers. There has been a million dollars sitting on the table waiting (FOR A LONG TIME!) for anyone who can prove otherwise under controlled circumstances. James Randi, an accomplished magician, skeptic & all round good chap can do anything Ms.Brown does, and explain to you how it is done...

Here is her million dollars, if she really is for real!...

I don't know who Silva Brown is, and I don't know the exact chapter and verse of the scriptures, but I know God said that any angel that comes to you against God is of the evil one (or group). The Bible also said that Satan is a master deceiver.
There are no such things as ghosts, but there are spirits. Evil spirits, angels, and our "bodies" once we die. However, when we die, we don't come back to Earth, we go to Judgement, where we will be sent to Heaven or Hell.
Satan has deceived many, and his legions of demons can act as somebody thats dead (ghosts). They are spirits, so can transform themselves to look like whoever they want. Psychic powers other than God's prophesying are from Satan as well. People pray to him (sometimes unconsciously) and he loves the praise, and gives them what they want.
God says stay away from all evil, which includes any ritual having to do with Satan, such as this one.

I saw her a lot on The Mon-tel Williams show. I think that some people are bless with the power to see into the future, or the past. I sometimes feel like I am kind of psychic, because when something is not right I get a funny feeling in my stomach.

She might be a real "medium" or a fake one. Either way it's wrong.

"When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire [an ancient occult practice], or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination [detestable] to the LORD..."

Catholics have a strict prohibition on spiritualism and in many countries there is a good business in exorcism in locations where it is believed people have used tarot cards. The church does not advertise that every diocese has a recognised exorcist because they don't like to draw attention to it, but in effect it is an admission that such events are real phenonmena

in the book of samuel saul sought after samuels ghost.
saul is not the best example of a Godly man.he went to a witch.my wife used to be in sainteria,a mexican form of witchcraft.she saw some things.the bible speaks against communicating with familiar spirits i dont have time to look up the scriptures but if you can find a concordance it should help.the key word is familiar, when people claim to talk to ghost its usually a person they know.meaning not that person but a spirit pretending to be.a familiar spirit.the devils not out to have people worship him.just get their eyes off God.
