God bless you! The first step would be to contact the office of the nearest Catholic parish to your home.
It should be in the phone book; you can also do a Yahoo Yellow Pages search on the Net for the Catholic parish nearest you.
After some individual discussion, the priest (or deacon, or qualified lay member of the parish) will get you started as far as RCIA classes. RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.
I'd be curious to know more about what is drawing you to Catholicism. Feel free to PM me or email me at encarnacionjulia@yahoo.com .
God bless you again!

Go to a Catholic Church and ask the priest and tell him you want to covert, and that you need information regarding a good doctrinally honest RCIA program. RCIA is the Right of Christian Initiation for Adults. It educates candidates in Catholic beliefs. Depending on what you already know about the Church, this could either be speedy or lengthy. Whichever it is, rest assured that it's worth it.
Good luck.

I'm not sure on the exact way to go about being converted, but if you're not completely sold on this particular belief, mabey you should check out a local college that offers a Religion class and talk to the professor there. They know alot of facts about many different religions and are usually pretty helpful!

Catholic means universal. Being catholic is to embrace the message of Christ through the the special care of his Church which is to become your mother. Being catholic gives you all the means to become a daughter of God, to become a person fill with the Love of Jesus who died on the Cross in order for you to have eternal life with him in heaven.
It is the most beautiful gift that you can get and that your children can get ... the grace of Faith, the Grace to become a child of God ... WOW
Contact me whenever you need some light pertaining to the catholic faith. It will be a pleasure for me to answer your questions. Good Luck!

First of all, its not like joining a club. Any religion should be thought of as a way of life rather than a group of people. If you believe in Jesus Christ, his holy Mother, the Virgin Mary, and all Saints in Heaven, and you are a generous, self giving person, who cares for your fellow brothers and sisters, you might have what is needed to enter the kingdom of God. There are some rules and regulations, instituted thousands of years ago, and for those, you should find a good friendly priest and speak with him about your situation. Good luck and God Bless!

Jesus has whispered your name and you want to answer his call.
If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
With love and prayers in Christ.

You can ask a priest but I would discourage it because I find the Catholic Church's opposition to the death penalty utterly repulsive.

Why do you think that?? Be sure you read and study the bible for yourself before you make that decision. Many of their teachings are not biblical but i'll leave that for you to discover. Make sure you pray like it says in james 1:5. Pray In jesus name to God, for he is our and jesus heavenly father. He will give you the knowledge if you show you true desire to know.

It's not a difficult process. A bit time consuming, but can be accomplished painlessly. Contact your local priest for exact details. He will be glad to help you.
