cause livin eternal life day by day all the same happy stuff would be boring. And Lucifer was jealous that god love peeps more but he was wrong if he would love us then we wouldn't have that mess what we have now
Oh and God need some bad *ss dude who would tempt us to do bad thing cuase it has to be balanced. Cause if there wouldn't be devil and hell then peeps would stop believ in god and stop worshipin him. No pray for help no worship means god would disapear so well they had nice chat and Lycifer agreed to be the oposite and help god to make peeps for their game

It's all about pride. Angels, like us, have free will, and some of them didn't feel like God knew best anymore. Pride is the essence of sin; thinking we know better than God, and when the angels rebelled against God is was a doozy. God isn't about controlling people, but giving them a choice (angels too), and those angels chose to turn on God because they thought they knew better than He did... but then look where it got them ;)

The angel Lucifer thought he could be a real god--he rebelled and the 1/3 angels were dumb enough to follow him thinking he would win...HE LOST!

God told them to bow down before men. This ticked them off, considering they were created first. It had to do with pride, not because they didn't like heaven. Then of course, there was the 2nd group that fell, after Lucifer and his 1/3, these lusted after human women and resulted in nephilim, their giant children. They taught women bad things, taught men to make weapons, etc., so they fell out of lust.

Because Lucifer was in love with God so much that Lucifer wanted to be one with God.
God saw this as a perversion. And sent Lucifer to hell, the other angels thought this was wrong of God.

They wanted to know where their 'boundaries' or limitations reached, I guess...
But it was too late when they realized that they had CROSSED THAT particular LINE, since NO ONE else had ever done that before they did.
And true enough, they found out sooner than later that they could NO LONGER GET BACK to the way things were...

Do you mean why did Lucifer rebel? Because he wanted to be more powerful.

They envied God, and his power. No matter what they had, they wanted more.
