It's interesting when some ppl answer Adam or some anser Adam and Eve. they clearly never read the bible.

It was Just Adam not Eve
Eve was not create yet
It was all the fruit of the tree not just
an apple and the apple was not an apple
it was the apricot. there is not any apples and never were apple in
That part of the country
16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed
The real question were was Adam when Eve was Talking to the

In Gen 2:17 YHVH warns Adam not to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life before Eve is even formed. In Gen 3:3 Eve tells the serpent that Elohim said. So it is not clear if she heard it from YHVH after the initial injunction to Adam or if she heard it from Adam second hand. Either way she botched the hearing of the instructions to include touching the fruit, of which there was no such command. And we wonder why woman are forbidden by Paul to be teachers in the New Testament . In Scripture every jot and tittle are important and the removing or adding of whole words or phrases are cursed. At Genesis 2:15-17 Adam is warned about the tree of knowledge. Satan knew that Eve had been warned about the tree of knowledge and what would happen to her or Adam if they disobeyed God's command. We know this from what he asked Eve: "Genesis 3:1-3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die;" So, whether Adam told her or God told her directly, Eve had been warned.

God told Adam not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge.
Adam told Eve. This can be distinguished when Eve is talking to the serpent. She alters what was actually said by adding "or touch" to the instructions.
It was second hand information to Eve.

He told Adam not to eat the fruit. And then Adam went back to Eve when she offered him a piece of fruit and that is the beginning of man's sin!

God told Adam ['the man'] about it. And since there was no tv or daily papers then, Adam must have told Eve about it too since there wasn't really much to talk about either...
