It's true that some of us are a little sharp tongued when it comes to matters of faith. There are many reasons for this.
Some of us want to shock you. Most of these people are just kids experimenting with atheism as a way to anger their parents and step outside of the system for a few years. Don't worry. They'll return to the fold soon enough.
Some of us, on the other hand, need a little humor to help us deal with the fact that a huge percentage of people in the world let the idea that there is an invisible man in the clouds guide every decision that they make, including decisions that affect the rest of us and decisions that affect the state of the world.
This is incredibly hard for us to deal with as we could not be more sure that there is no man in the clouds and that focusing on what "he" wants leads people away from doing what is right for the individual and the rest of humankind.

According to your religion, it's impossible to attack god. He's omniscient and omnipotent -- remember? -- therefore completely invulnerable.
So what you really object to is the attacks on believers. Fair enough. I'll address that.
First: You can take it from me, the attacks go both ways; just read some of the questions and answers directed at atheists and agnostics if you want to see what I mean.
Second: Believers need to know that everybody doesn't share their beliefs, for the same reason that children need to learn that they're not going to get everything they want.
Third: Sometimes it's just plain fun. And if you don't want to be mocked, then learn to argue your position better, learn to defend your beliefs. You might be surprised by what you learn while you're doing that. Good luck.

That is probably the worst grammer I've ever seen. Anyway, maybe it's because a lot of christians like to do the same? Also, Athiests like any other type of group that is not the majority, want to connect with people who believe in the same things that they do.

Because christians are funny. It is so easy to get you guys all worked up and twisted around in your own beliefs. It is comedic genius! Tell a christian that Mary wasn't a virgin and watch em go!

Many people on here hate Jesus and they want to attack His followers.
I'm a Christian and I don't know why they hate us so much. Why do they say so many blasphemous things. God forgive them

Because you theists show him too much respect for a fictitious character and he needs knocking down a peg or two.

everybody has their own opinion about GOD, talking about HIM over the internet is not appropriate. that is a sensitive issue, keep it with family and close friends-not the whole planet.
