My advice is to lay down with her sometimes they just need to feel there mommy is near and what wakes her up if she is easily awakened by noise u should try keeping the radio on with some soft music playing even at night when she sleeps so she can get used to the noise hope it helps

Some baby sleep for long periods and some don't. Some babies are better at self-soothing than others. Try different things. Give her a bath before her daytime nap, rock her and sing to her. There's nothing wrong with holding her until she drifts off to sleep and then putting her in her crib. What's the temperature and the environment in the room - too warm, too much light, t.v. on? Read to her. Is she getting floor time? Is she getting enough activity time and stimulation when she's awake? Have you talked to your pediatrician? What has he/she recommended. Babies are wonderfully complicated little human beings.

If there is nothing uncomfortable with her - no colic, no gas, just her being her, then 20 minutes is all she is going to nap. She is 4 months and - literally - sleeping through the night - getting 9-10 hours there. Apparently that is all her body needs. Give her the short naps and thank your lucky stars that you can go to sleep when SHE goes to sleep at night and get a full 8 hours. (You sleep when she sleeps!!!!) Sounds like you simply have a child that is already sleep patterned.

My daughter slept the different hour till she replaced into 6 months previous, and did not sleep by skill of the evening til 18 months. I say each toddler is distinct. There are people which will allow you to keep in mind that newborns sleep 18 hours an afternoon, yet no one I knew had a toddler sleep that a lot! If she is getting established clinical checkups and the wellbeing care specialist says she's healthy, i'd say do not problem about it. what's a good time to sleep at evening? Newborns sleep at the same time as they sleep, era. i remember which could no longer the reply you wanted to take heed to, yet in my adventure, that is what i got here upon. sturdy success, and do not problem, this may bypass!

Well she should sleep all night that is what you want but maybe you should try flipping her.......If that doesn't work then im not sure but maybe you should let her play for a while in the morning.............put a mat down on the floor and put some toys around her and let her play just keep any animals away........Some kids dont like to sleep during the day and she is getting 9 to 10 hours of sleep at night but just try letting her play during the day to tire her out more and she should go right to sleep for u..................Good Luck..........

Maybe she's taking too many naps during the day. Maybe she's just not tired when you're putting her down.
I would try keeping her awake until 11-12 before putting her down for a nap, if she sleeps at all, wait to put her down again for another 4 hours or so.... at least until she's able to find a schedule that fits for her. It could be that she just isnt there yet.

Dear you have the baby many parents dream of. Do you realize how many parents spend months trying to get their babies to sleep at night? She doesnt sleep during the day because she actually sleeps during the night. If for some reason you need hear to sleep during the day reverse her bedtime routine. Give her a bath early and give heavier bottles late at night so her restful sleep is in the middle of the night and she will start to be awake more often at night.

believe me you should count your blessings that she sleeps through the night, and it is absolutely normal for a baby of that age group to just take small naps during the day,so long as she is happy and contented etc then you have nothing to worry about, although i do understand that it is worrying as some children do sleep through the night and also through the day for some time too, but then every child is different, So as i said before so long as she is well, happy and contented etc then count your blessings and don't worry that she is only taking taking short naps through-out the day time.

it's normal for a infant to only sleep 20 minutes at a time, she will get the amount of sleep she needs if she wakes up after 20 minutes then thats all the sleep she needed.

she is probably used to you holding her during the day. make sure she is fed (and burped really well before you put her down, gas can hurt her to the point she will not stay asleep during the day) her diaper is dry and you have spent some quality time with her before you put her down. and if she cries let her for a few minutes then go in to soothe her let her know its naptime but dont pick her up she will get the hang of it. when it was time for my kids to go to bed a made sure i told tnem its time to take a nap or goodnight that hepls them understand what is going on and dont think she is too yourg to use this technique she not...
