Mine is kinky curly too and I've had chemical straighteners put on it, I've used blow dryers, curling Irons and hot irons to straighten it out and I fried it sooo bad! I finally gave up on straight hair and learn to enjoy the hair GOD gave me. First of all, my hair is dry, so I wash it once every 3 or 4 days with a shampoo for dry hair, throw the conditioner to it and give it a good 3 min before rinsing. I use a hair serum to calm down the frizzies and the best stuff I've ever used is the leave in treatment by Infusium, it's great!! Then I just throw the gel to it and let it dry without using a blow dryer, some hairspray to hold it all together and make sure your products are alcohol free. A layered cut works for me too!! Good Luck!!

Don't do anything.. leave it.. I bet it looks awesome! Naturally curly and frizzy hair is sexy, especially on the right person. There are people out there with straight hair that would die for hair like yours. I don't know what colour your hair is but I know that redheads, blonds, and brunettes with curly and frizzy hair.. are a big turn on for a lot of guys.... just try some different styles.. putting it up, pony tail, short cut, off to one side.. etc. Save some money and go to a 'professional' hair stylist.... flip through some magazines.. but don't straighten it.. be proud of your hair...

My hair is frizzy too, I use I product called "express style" by Paul Mitchell. It isn't made to help frizzyness, but it works well. Also, don't blow dry your hair, it just makes it frizz more. Let it air dry and while it's drying apply a small amount of the express style cream. If your hair still frizzes maybe you should go to your hair salon and ask them about different products; they know best! :]

well i dont think u should chemically straiten your hair... i used to have the same problem but u just have to buy a really good straightener....or just do it curly with hairspray and gel with a defuser. and if frizz is a big problem then try this stuff called biosilk.
