you still have it?, report this to yahoo account services and report to better business bureau, also to the atty. general's office on consumer affairs. you can ask for their help to dispute this fact. think of it as a credit card charge that you didn't make. this will help your case to your parents to let them know that you didn't do this. sometimes though you have to pay up, and learn from mistakes. as for the company talk to a supervisor and explain your case, if you really didn't use the service then stand up and be firm.

This is called cramming if you did not order this which they have to prove with either a signed Letter of Authorization or Third party verification which is a recording of you ordering it. Also if you are under 18 you are not allowed to order it. You do not need to pay them in order to have the service removed and credited. Call the company back have the service removed and ask for proof of order as explained above. If they refuse to remove and credit now ask to speak with a supervisor and also let them know the next call will be to the F.C.C. or Federal Communications Commission. Then call the local phone company and tell them what happen as well. This company does this hoping some will be stupid enough to pay them.

Sounds like a scam to me. Tell them you won't pay and have them prove you signed up for the service. If they claim they will hit your credit report, don't worry, it would cost more for them to report you to a credit agency than it would for them to eat the $16 cost.
