What is the best way to make someone appreciate you and realize what they have?

they will appreciate you when you are gone as they will have lost something they though would last for ever ,if they dont appreciate you do not stay with them as there is some one out there who will appreciate you and love you for who you are and what you have done for them ,hope it all works out for you

You just have to treat them the way you want to be treated. Maybe if they don't they are not worth your time anyway. Some people just take and take and never ever realize how good they have it!
