A big fall! Look at the replies you got -excuse makers.
Funny how no one wants to hear that-it is even a bigger issue than immigration.
God forbid-you point out their sin-most will turn it back and say all do. No morals-no responsibility.
Personally lets kick the unmoral out and the excuse makers. We can let others in than we would have plenty of room. And yes there is a difference between those who sin and those who make a 'practice' out of it. And yes sin has measures-all through out the bible. And excuse makers are practicer of it. Now they will go and pick the parts they like out. Rather than the whole book.
Look out morals is more dangerous subject than Illegal immigrants.

Actually I feel that it started with Case Law…The marvelous idea from a Harvard Law professor that changed the face of justice. No longer is killing someone murder. There are all sorts of circumstances and nuances to each case. (Some) Attorneys get rich from it, cases calendars are backlogged, and the system bogs down.
Before Case Law was Common Law. If you murdered someone, then you murdered someone. Everyone knew what murder was and what would happen. Everyone was treated the same. Laws were easy to understand because the results were the same for everyone, which is why most people were honest and law abiding.
How can we be law abiding if the laws are so complicated that only lawyers understand it. The criminal wins because he can easily get lost in the system, or a reduced or suspended sentence, paroled for good behavior, or get credit for time served while waiting to be tried.
I believe this is just another step in the ploy of "the intent of the law" (sometimes a really vague concept). It's getting so that our laws are like church doctrines, everybody has one but they only agreed on a few basic concepts everything else is up for interpretation and who knows which interpretation is correct?
Illegal Immigrants are Illegal. Sounds simple enough and Illegal means that you break the law by doing it. I wish it were that simple, Illegal has so many different variations now that the meaning of the words become a political comedy.

Once again, you are completely and totally CORRECT!!
Mexico is NOT a poor or third world country, they have exceeded a TRILLION dollar economy! They do not want to face the distance between rich and poor, so they send as many as they can for La Reconquista to reclaim by majority population!
We are being led to another war for independance from our leaders, and THEY in Congress call us racist?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
WHO PROTECTS AMERICA WHEN IT CONSTANTLY PASSES LAWS AGAINST US FOR OTHER NATIONS?
example: Tax incentives to send our jobs overseas, after agreements like Nafta took our manufacturing jobs, and now the menial jobs are held by a class of people we created to give preference to give jobs too instead of Americans.
OUR CITIZENSHIP IS ON THE BLOCK NEXT, TAKE A STAND AGAINST THIS ALREADY! NO AMNESTY, MAKE IT A FELONY, MUST PROVE CITIZENSHIP TO VOTE, NO CITIZENSHIP FOR ANCHOR BABIES , ALL OF IT!
Stop being fed lies...Mexico has a wide variety of jobs, there government has to meet those challenges. Not all people in Mexico, in fact the vast majority of immigrants are turnip pickers!!
And icme0301, who has no valid email address:
When was the last time I clean a filthy stinking house?
I have a good white collar job where I can apply my skills in an office and manage resources around me.
I'd say about two months ago, I did it for seven months until my customer beat me out of pay. I've been in my white collar business over 20 years.
If you think I wouldn't pick cotton all day or clean other people filthy, dirty, stinking sh.it.ty right off the floor, walls, and anywhere else then you don't know me very well, and you don't know alot of Americans that have a strong work ethic.
AND FOR LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE AND WOULD DO IT IF I WAS COMPLETELY UNEMPLOYED.
Did I happen to mention my family has been here about 150 years and i'm not an illegal immigrant and work my a.ss off for $1 and hour and the same butt off for $100 an hour or more?

Where did your ancestors come from and did they speak English well? Did they have Green Cards or they just came off a boat and got citizenship in no time? It's easy to talk B.S when you're legal, right?
Your ancestorscame to look for a better life. Just like all of us-"illegal immigrants". Your ancestors probably spoke no English and had no work history when they were handed citizenship. They hadn't paid any taxes, hadn't moved their little finger for this country!
WE HAVE. Unlike your ancestors, I've been paying taxes and I completely deserve citizenship. You spoilt, little *****, who's only job is to whine! Get a life and an education finally, white trash!

So you propose to send 13 million people that you cannot even find back????? The point is to get real. Justifying the situation may also not be the answer. But look for a real solution that works for everyone. Life is not so simple. You will know this in about forty years i'm guessing.

Exactly! If we start rewarding criminals, the whole society is on the slippery slope ... I mean, if we disregard one law, why should we follow the rest of them? Pay speeding fines? Naaaahhhh ... commit burglary? Yeah, why not .... sure you can always say you were underprivileged and hungry ... where does it end? We either have a law and adhere to it, or we don't .... anyone up for anarchy?

The morals of our country have been sold down the river by people who can make money by exploiting the prurient impulses of society. We have freedom of speech, which is broadly interpreted to mean, anything goes. So it has become the norm to include stuff in daily speech, movies, TV, every form of communication & interaction to attract attention and gather money or sometimes clout. Also, policies are generally set by those in power to favor their needs rather than to solve problem in a neutral sense.

I agree, but the government is doing the best we can to stop them from coming illegally. It is a tough job and we are doing the best we can. The most we can do is not to encourage it, as you said in your own special way.

They went out the window when we as a nation rejected the founding principle of the constitution. Since the mere mention of "GOD" is so offensive to people the radical left would have you believe that's evil. So that's why our morals of the nation have fallen or been discarded. People like you and me that have morals don't stand up and speak or scream as loud as the left does.
