When did she have her surgery?Did the vet clinic not send home any pain meds like metacam etc.I would call your vet and ask what they can give you or what you can give her at home. They know her best and would know the proper dosage for her body weight etc.

Your vet should have provided you with pain medications, to go home with...?? If not call them and ask THEM. If it was recent (today or yesterday) they may want to still give her something. If it were a while ago, there could be a different problem all together. CALL YOUR VET! Many over the counter medications have sever reactions in animals. They do not digest medications the way humans do.

don't give her anything!!! if she has been spayed in the last 10 days try to keep her in a small space like a kennal or a small bathroom, you don't want her jumping around or she will open her incision which you'll have to take her back in and cost you more plus you'll have to give meds for infection i'm not sure if the doctor gave you any, that depends on the doctor but if so make sure to give them . i hope this helps

first, spend some time with her, make sure she is not in pain, keep her in a dark room, that she can't jump up on stuff and leave her be. If restlessness continues, call the vet.

Give her a hollow marrow bone or a kong stuffed with peanut butter, squeeze cheese or even mushed up bread. For that matter kong sells a "kong stuffer treat in a squeeze can. This can keep a dog QUIETLY occupied for hours.

You can take her for leash walks to get some of her energy out. Unless she is too jumpy and rammy on a walk.

You can possibly give her a child's dose of benadryl if her energy level is going to cause a tear in her stitches, but I would consult your vet.

She will be fine...

Just give her the pain meds she was sent home with and she should be back to herself in a day or two.

Call your vet and ask for some valium for her if they will give it to you. That is what we did for my dog, and it calmed her down so she could heal. good luck :-)
