ALL domestic pigeons are the same species and will crossbreed. In fact, sometimes the hard part is keeping them FROM crossing when you're trying to keep them for showing.

As for crossing of dove/pigeon. Yes, it can be done, but almost invariably the young are sterile (mules). There is no telling what the youngster will look like, since that depends on the parental crosses.

i'd could say no. "breed for a purpose; an acceptable that they carry their canines to" that won't ever ensue, as mixed breed litters come out diverse for all time. as well, what often is the purpose they are breeding for???? i understand of few breed mixes that are being bred for the different purpose than seems and money. those are not any more reliable causes to reproduce mixes. So once again, no. all people who purposely creates mutts isn't a to blame breeder. There are too many already lack of life in the kilos.

Pigeons and doves can cross-breed, but only if they have no other access to their own species. All breeds of domestic pigeons do and will interbreed with each other, as well as with feral pigeons, if they have access.
