Has he started going back to his old habits? If he hasn't only be positive and encouraging because if you hound him about not starting it again before he does, it might just make him want to. If he has already began, remind him that the road has certainly not been any easier for him because of them. Let him know, when he is sober and not fiending for a fix, that he is not and will not be welcome to your home when he is high or if he has drugs on him. Tell him that you do not have the ability to assist him in any way if he should get in trouble again. Remind him that it will more than likely not be only probabtion if he should get in trouble again. And also let him know that once you are in the system, they will be watching, especially now he is off probation. They will find reasons to pull him over. They will find reasons to stop him if they see him walking down the street.

You can't and you must accept it. You need help to deal with this kind of problem in a healthy way.
Call or google alcoholics anonymous and ask about their support groups for family members of users. They will help you deal with your brothers problems and help you learn how to avoid the same pitfalls. Your brother's problems can mess you up in unexpected ways. Get educated!

if it is meth you really need to stop him, i know from experience. google faces of meth and show him some before and after pics.if they don't scare him i don't know what will. most of all let him know you care and that you want him alive and out of jail.
