I've worn my hair in a ponytail for the past six years...I know, talk about hair damage. I was just a kid so I didn't know any better. Just about everyday, except for after i took a shower, i wore a ponytail. Now my hair is really frizzy, dry, dull, just completly damaged. I'm wondering if anyone has any good hair solutions or have gone through the same thing. Do you think it would be better just to shave it off and regrow, lol.

You should do a hot oil treatment, use conditioners, and if your tips a very bad cut them. Don't shave it, there are other solutions!

make sure you dont have any split ends and get trims regualrly, dont use too much of products that contain alcohol, and try to stay away from heat styling as much as possible. deep condition your hair at least once a week (i dye my hair a lot so i do it every other day) and find a good leave in conditioner as well. if its still not as nice as you want go to your stylist and see if they can give you a cut to better complement your hair or a semi permenent color to make your hair shinier and your color brighter. good luck!

Cut all those dead ends and regrow it. There is nothing to repair hair cause it is dead anyway when it comes from the root and grows out.

make sure you use good, salon quality shampoo & coditioner. get a short cut (as short as you can go without looking dumb) by a good stylist (not supercuts) and keep trimming until your hair looks good again.
