i'm sensible and don't believe in a god

Very open question, do i believe that there is a higher power, maybe, but this is only because somethings in live are to amazing to be coincidence, my childs birth, the sunset in hawaii, great sex. Fate/karma, sure why not? But the real question is, does it matter? If people look at the bible and do as it says, and follow thier religion well that is the only way they can be saved from an eternity of hell. My deal is that in a time of chaos, religion was invented as a way to control the masses giving hope and instilling fear to create a manageable environment for progress and rule. So i think im a sensible guy, but to be honest, if god is cool with me, im cool with him, and me believing or not isnt going to matter to him. So instead of saying I believe or not, i will say that I just dont care.

I am sensible and I don't believe in God.

However, even when I'm not being sensible, I still don't believe in God.

I am very sensible, thank you! I believe in God. He has done many wonderful things in my life. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be here if there were no God and, neither would you!

Are you asking 2 questions or are you assuming people can't be sensible if they believe in God? I am usually sensible bu haven't decided whether I believe in God, gods, godesses or whatever although I am drawn to Pagan religions, studying Wicca.

why do you think that believing in God is not sensible? i am a very strong believer in Christ, but i am not insensible (in this case). you are your own person and can choose to be sensible or insensible, weather or not you believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross for our sins two thousand six years ago. now, i am not saying that you are rude, i dont know you but calling people insensible because they believe that we did not evolve from bacteria, or that it is just a coinsidence that if the earth was 100,000 miles in any direction we would burn or freeze to death, is very insulting. and maybe you need a time out. you can continue not believing in God, but you should not call people names, because that is abusing your power to live and love. no i am not a hippie.
