My boy friend is strong and when we fight he gets stuborn and backs off but he knows I can't go a few hours w/o talking to him. It's long distance so it's hard.

Oh'm'god, this is so me! Same exact thing with my man and me used to happen, accept we don't fight alot anymore. We are long distance too. Honestly, I was doing the same as you and would always call... then one time I didn't for 24 hrs. He called me and we had a major turning point and break-through in our relationship. He went nuts because I had changed and hadn't called him... he thought my feelings were changing and broke down.. the best thing I ever did was not call.
So trust me girl, one day just don't call. Turn your phone off at night too. He hangs up because he knows you will call him right back. Just suck it up and don't... good luck.

If you don't want to talk to him and don't want to call him, erase his number from your phone. It'll help a little when you have the urge to call. If you don't have the number, you most likely won't call. Blocking his number will help if he calls you.

It's all about self control....
Try to occupy your time so you don't think about him (which I know is hard)...try not to give in...
