reasons???

my boyfriend... like i know he likes me a lot and stuff but he never calls just to talk. im his first girlfriend and hes my first but like he always has a REASON to call. like hes inviting me to do something or whatever. is that just the guys way? or is it because hes not comfy with the whole calling idea yet? or what? and is there any way to get him to call me for no reason but to talk?

you got it right.... he is a guy and guys call for "reasons".. girls are not the same....... change your expectations.. be happy he calls... he probably makes up the reason anyway just to talk to you... be happy!!

if you asked my girlfriend she'd say she knows exactly what you're talking about, because I'm the same way. Ummm, guys dont just call on the phone to be chatty, well, straight guys dont anyway. That's what your girlfriends are for.

But seriously, I'm guessing both of you are pretty young and he's probably just not comfortable enough yet to think he can carry on a just chatting conversation on the phone without looking like a complete tool. It should get better the longer your relationship goes, and the more comfortable you get with each other.

This question of your's is so similiar to what Im going through, I dont know what's the problem with those type guys, but maybe since he's ur first he's nervous, shy, maybe dont know how to go about starting a conversation with you. Maybe you should give him a call and talk to him, the key to a GREAT relationship is communication, and I think if you guys keep going that rate, it's not gonna work out, so my advice to you is call him and talk to him, you know ask him what doesn't he call, you'll only get the answer your looking for from him, he's the one your in the relationship in with right?

Because men & boys are not wired the same as girls. We do not like to just chit chat and gossip unless it's about last nights game. We actually need something to talk about and feel it's a waste of time sitting on the phone talking about nothing. Sorry but thats how it is.

First of all, do not ever beg a guy to call you. I had to break the knews to you, but your boyfriend is playing you. He only calls you because he only wants to have sex. Some guys are like that,meanwhile they string you along making you think you are into you, when they're not. P.S. It sounds like you're young. If so, go out and meet other boys, and just act like whateva....I bet you he'll start calling you.

Guys and girls don't usually have the same phone habits. If he wasn't in the habit of calling his friends "just to chat" then it's not something that will come naturally to him. There is nothing wrong with you calling him to chat, and I'm sure eventually he'll start doing the same thing.

I just don't think he's comfy with the whole calling idea, but not all guys are like that me and my bf 24.7, y don't you call him and have a chat with him that indicates to him that it's ok for him to call you for no aparrant reason at all.

A lot of men are this way. It is just one of those things that make men different from women. Your boyfriends probably enjoys sending time with you when it is not over the phone.

Well it probably doesn't help that your he's first. he just doesn't no what to do yet. what I would do is just call him to talk and do it for like 2 Weeks straight then all of a sudden not call him and see if he calls you. It worked for me. Plus it probably hasn't dawned on him that he need to call you just to talk.

not all the guys r like this but may be ur not making him happy or there is some small error i think u can fix .
Tell him if u don't Call me it means u don't love me so evey day u have to call me 2 or 3 if u love me ok
