I understand. I mean yeah I don't believe in God, but I still believe there are times for people to pray and other times for people to leave the Bible out of it. Like on Yahoo Answers unless the question is about the Bible.

What is the question? If the question is asked in this forum you will more than likely get a religious answer. That is what this forum is for. How can you give an accurate answer, about a religious question, without quoting the scriptures?

Quoting the Bible gives proof of the answers we give. Whats wrong with that?? You say you believe in God and Jesus, but where do you get your knowledge from? I hope its not man only. There are many wolves running around dressed in sheep's clothing. We are supposed to discern by the Bible, that their speaking the truth.

Well you know, it probably has something to do with the fact that you are in the RELIGIOUS & SPIRITUALITY section of Yahoo Answers. Ya know, I might be taking a stab in the dark, but I'm pretty sure that's why you get the answers you get in this forum.

Well, you're in the Religion and Spirituality Section. You'd have to expect people to be passionate about what they believe.
And yeah, they'll quote their scripture. The bible is a source of wisdom for me. It's okay if you disagree, many will in this section. Just know and expect that it will happen here.
In anycase, I'll try to answer your question if I happen to have my own personal answer for it. I never "Spam" people.
God bless.

To properly answer this question, let me begin by being religious, and quoting a bible verse...Just kidding

For some people their faith is their only guideline in life. No matter the question, or the circumstance, they search their faith for the answer.
For others they may feel that answering generic questions with religious answers may be a way to proselytize and bring others to their understanding of the truth.

I don't believe. Some peeps are just too religious probably. Not all answers include religious stuff. I never do unless the question is religous.

The only way to speak the Word of God is to quote Scripture. You should be wary of anyone who does not, but claims to be "religious"

Most bible thumping doesn't happen so much for your benefit but that of the bible thumper himself. He/she in a way reasserts his/her own beliefs by repetition, a mantra of sorts the more they say it the more they believe in it. That's why they must repeat it, otherwise they may end up thinking and discarding their beliefs.
