I am a Criminal Justice major and I am currently in the process of getting hired with the secrete service, I love everything about these jobs, but as for CSI I thing it is over rated and too many people want to do it! The TV show does not do it justice!!!!!!!

Well, each one is different. I would never think of joining the CIA or the secret service because I think they're basically nasty, secretive, and corrupt. However, I might think about joining the FBI or CSI. The FBI does catch some of the biggest scumbags out there and the CSI helps, so that might be cool.
I think people are attracted to government organizations because they are powerful and can perhaps give a measure of power to those who are a part of them. Some people are join to fight crime or bring justice to the world, or because they feel they can do good by joining.

I thought about joining the FBI when I was like 15. I wanted to know who really killed JFK.
