Confidence???????

Ok I have seen and heard many people say that I along with every other shy and decent guy need to get some self confidence. Thank you for your advice people but how exactly do we build/get self confidence? Not trying to sound like an @sshole but I just don't get it.

Confidence comes from within......you have to believe in yourself that you are worthy of the best and go after it. You have to learn to take risk....such as if there is a girl that you like, approach her and ask her out. If she says no, don't go into a shell. Keep your head high and learn from that and move to the next one. Because one day someone will accept. I know you have heard the saying if you don't love yourself how can you expect others to. People only see what you see. If you see greatness others will see it too.

I'm shy and sometimes my confidence level isn't all that good. But no one can tell at a first glance. It's how you carry yourself. Walk with your head high, give eye contact and smile alot. By being shy, I am also very observant and I have a good judge of character when it comes to people. So have your "this is not what I want in a man" list and don't shy away from it because some guy approach you. You can build your confidence level up by hanging around positive people. Don't let the negative get to you. And always know that you are someone important. You are beautiful. You are nobody's fool.

Practice eye contact when you are walking down the street. Most people avoid it. But make a habit of making eye contact with women. Also, next time you go out to eat, to a bar, club, etc., and you see a good looking lady that you want to talk to you. Write a note with your name and number. On the way out walk up to her and say, "Hi, my name is XXXXX, I am on my way out, but I wanted to stop by and just say you are very beautiful. I'd love to grab some lunch sometime. Here is my name and number." It's a low risk approach and it builds confidence.

you need to find somethin you like about yourself and build on that. If you like your body dress to show it. Make yourself feel good. If you have anything your good at show the world. Without being egotistical of course. Theres a thin line between inflated ego and self confident. Girls love guys who seem sure of themselves and know what they want.

Just be yourself, and hang around people who will ccept you for you. Also read the holy bible thats what I do it will help.
