I'm thinking of dying my hair.. What's better Manic Panic or Punky Colors? Is there any other better hair dyes that these? Something that lasts long?

Punky is amazing! See links below. ( all done with jerome russel's punky colour).I've used so many of their colours.
I've used Flamingo Pink (1412) with amazing success.
Violet (1428) comes out great,
Atlantic Blue (1404) is nice but a little dark,
Blue Black (1444) is too dark, if your going with blue black your better off going with Loreal Prefrence Deepest Indigo. (it comes out almost the same.)
All those dyes fade out, but I've had much better results with punky.

Unfortunately these colors do not stay as dark and as long as people would like them to. They tend to fade out in a few washes and leave behind a pale color of the original color you were trying to achieve. I've tried Manic Panic and those were the results I got. I even asked at the salon to have blue streaks put in, and she told me I was better off getting some fake pre-colored hair pieces to put in my hair instead because the dyes wouldn't last very long.
But if you still want to color your hair, I'd say go for a goop/paste mixture over a gel (they are more runny and harder to work with).

I like manic panic myself but it does not last as long as I'd like it too. When you have the color on your hair put a plastic bag over it and heat it with the hair dryer. The heat helps the color to last longer.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.
Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

Manic Panic has great colors, but they don't last very long.
