It matters what kind of oil youre talking about. If the oil says that it will make your hair grow faster then it may help your hair grow but maybe not the type of fast that youre thinking about. But grease is good for your hair. Oil is mainly for dry scalp and to help your hair shine.

No it doesn't, oil doesn't affect the grow of your hair, for this you need a good shampoo, the shampoo should be accord with the type of hair that you have.
