I think it's gone too far, this country is great because of God and for some reason we've forgotten that. It was founded on the belief that God wanted this country not on the idea that we had to make absurd exceptions based on political correctness.

I believe that it is a hidden motive and going too far, how can you remove God from this country when Christianity is the basis for the country, How can you say well we don't need you now God after he has elevated us to being the strongest country in the world.

I think its going too far. We are a country of religions and there is the common courtesy of accepting one's religion and freedom to express it without taking it to courts and getting monuments and sayins removed from public places. A "public" place is a place where all people come together for whatever reason. You respect each person that is there. No offense to anyone who doesn't feel this way but the whole religion thing is so ridiculous. Its like find a life and get over yourself and just be you and thats all. know what i mean?

There is a definite trend to remove God from everything. I recently saw a movie about Moses and the Ten Commandments -- it essentially removed God from the story -- it made Moses out to be a lunatic. The same with a couple of animated movies: one about Joseph and the other also about Moses -- both Godless.
The only way a Bible story can be told without God, is if it is someone's agenda; they have to go out of their way to erase God from these Bible stories.
Yet, the strangest thing is that, these people who seek a Godless society are in the minority!

My feeling is that God should be the center of more things than less.
And yes, I've noticed how things like the Ten Commandments are being removed from federal buildings. And prayer is discouraged in the schools.
What a shame.

It is offensive to many people. I'm not offended personally even though I'm not a Christian but I can see how many people would get offended by what is arguably state sponsored religion...on money, in the pledge, etc. And look at it from another point of view...as a Christian, would you be okay with a pentagram or upside down cross on the walls of public buildings such as courtrooms. Probably not.

God has nothing to do with a country. God doesn't care about America or any other country. God should not be involved in anything that has to do with government. There should be no ten commandments up or God in the pledge. Because: there are people who don't believe in god. And just because your the majority that doesn't mean we can forget about all the other people who don't want to be involved in religon. I mean if you have faith of some kind why do you need to reminded of it all the time.

As many things and places as possible? Only places I know of where there is any agenda to remove religion is those places supported by tax dollars. I haven't seem any moves to remove religion from any homes or churches, or from anyone's private life.
Are you suggesting that is a GOOD thing for our government to be deciding religious matters? What happens to freedom of religion, once government becomes our official church?

my god has has no hidden motives or agendas and you will understand this once you get to know and accept him into your heart and let him encompass your mind, body and soul. You will only want to go further, my god wants to only take you higher. I'm just playing girl, sorry I can't take your question I don't know what you're specifically referring to. Are you talking about a song or movie that has hidden meanings about god because they're trying to make everybody good and pure?
