I have a cockatiel and when I go out I leave the radio on for him, which he likes, but his favorite is when I play songs of other cockatiels singing for him. I've also downloaded some songs from some other type of (wild/nature) birds, some of which he likes and some he doesn't. He really likes the few short clips of other cockatiels singing and jabbering that I've come across but I'm wondering if there is a good place to find more and/or lengthy songs I can download free for my bird to listen too. Maybe there's an exchange somewhere? I could swap uploads of Petey singing and whistling. Please only accurate on topic answers. Thanks

Yes of course I looked in google and yahoo, someone is just trying to add easy points aren't they?

Please review my initial question - ACCURATE, ON TOPIC answers only please.

(yep, I named him petey....this bird appeared out of the trees one day and jumped onto my shoulder so I took him in, after looking around to see if he had been lost. so his name wasn't something I pondered ahead of time. He whistles some theme songs etc, so I know someone did spend some time teaching him, and he really enjoys music and other bird songs, hence my desire to give him these brid songs I can tell he really enjoys).

"every one wants something for nothing"
to andy3191: I didn't say I wanted something for nothing, I said I would be happy to SWAP recordings with others in a fair exchange. yes, I could play the recordings of him over and over again to him, but thought he'd enjoy hearing other birds and that other birds might enjoy hearing his songs. thanks for nothing...your answer was snotty and you sound like a jerk, thanks not for the phony bogus link too.

easy thing to do is tape Petey, he'll love hearing himself, also put on the theme song to Andy Griffith, my birds always learn that one, and your answering machine is a cheap way for him to learn to.. call him up when your not busy.. and replay them for him when you get home, check out the reaction.

First, Did you really name him petey? teach him to talk and whistle, any tune will do, and then they can talk to you, believe me its true. Mine is very rude and swears, it say's good morning, how the **** are you? and wolf whistles, it also whistles a says **** you, nobody loves you.
