I used to say that I wouldn't but now that I have grown in the Lord I have learned that if you do not acknowledge him on earth he won't acknowledge you when you get before his father.

Blackflamedp - You said Jesus or God hates everyone but the Jews. This confirms that you do not know the bible or the story of Christ and why he came. If you did, you would know that the Jews would not accept Jesus as God's true Son so, God gave all their blessings to the Gentiles to make the Jews jealous. But the Jews would not believe that Jesus was more than mere man.

Read Romans 11:7-16 This tells of God extending his salvation to the Gentiles. Read the whole chapter for a clear view.

God's chosen people are the Jews. But he loves the Gentiles because they were OPEN and ACCEPTING and believed in Jesus as the Son of God. The Jews rejected Christ. So God put a veil over the eyes (hearts) of the Jews so they WOULD NOT believe until the day that all of the Gentiles who WILL believe in Christ have come to him. Romans11-25-26.

This chapter also reveals Gods nature as being both kind and severe. In a nutshell, he loves love and hates hate. God is not the big mystery everyone tries to make him out to be. Like anyone else, when you get to know Him and His background, it all becomes very clear.

His extreme mercy is easy to understand, and His extreme anger is just as easy to understand, if you really want to. You can only know God by reading His word. And in His word He completely reveals Himself and his motives for all He has done and is going to do.

So many of you people who are quick to attack Christianity probably have pre-concieved notions from your family, or some of the TV shows that are now on. Why take someone else's word? Read the bible for yourself so you really do know what your talking about. Then you will be speaking from knowledge - not from hearsay.

God Loves YOU. He really really loves you. There is nothing you can do that will make you unacceptable to Him.

He extends His love and mercy and protection to you blackflamedp. His arms are open and there is nothing that is too hard or complicated for him to fix. All you have to do is ask him to show himself to you.

Why should I? Jesus doesn't need me to stand up for Him, He can do that all on His own. "get Jesus back in school"? How silly, Jesus is right there before every math test, He is in the hearts of every Christian child there, who, btw, is free to pray at any time they wish.

Will I go to court over it? No, it's a settled issue with the Supreme Court. It doesn't bother me, as it is rather insulting to Muslims and Buddhists (I don't care what athiests think) and all other religions to force Jesus upon their children. That's not Love, therefore that's not Jesus.

This country is turning it's back on God and this country will fall. There is no stopping evil. I'll die for what I believe in but trying to deal with faithless people is pointless at times...it's all happening the way it's supposed to.

What, exactly, is right? Isn't that subjective? What may be "right" for a certain segment of society isn't necessarily right for free thinking people.

Also, It may have been a Freudian slip on your part but, I think it's very telling that you used the word "meany" instead of "many" in your question.

forcing children to learn about a specific religio nand ignore lal others is not "right".

simply because YOU beleive it doesent make it right either. my kids in the future, i hope, wont have to deal with this problem because the idea of teaching fantasy in a science class is absurd...and will hopefully be seen that way in the future.
