If it can produce a cooling sensation coming out as it does going in, then, by golly, you just might have a cure for the "burn" of passing anything with hot peppers in it or the beer "runs." This is worth a try. I'll get back to you on it sometime this weekend.

Xylitol doesn't break down in the digestive system so you will feel a cooling sensation. As for the smell no dice.
