This is why I like this site so much...you really get to hear everyone's side of the story and I'm glad that you wrote in with this question.....Let me start off by saying that most women (even me sometimes) get VERY jealous because we HATE the idea of "our" men going to strip joints and drooling over all the HOT women out there....but those very same women CAN suggest tagging along with the men as well, just to see what it's all about.....sometimes it can be a turn on for a couple to see another woman dancing for either the man or the other woman....it just makes the sex when they get home that much better....but there are still women out there who won't have anything to do with it and only have degrading things to say about strippers.....I personally don't think that I could do it, although I have "thought" about it, because your right...it's really good money....but I think I would just feel negatively about myself at the end of the night (but that's just me) I would just hope that this is not a lifelong career for you because I'm sure that there is soo much more to you as a person and you never know....maybe you just haven't figured out what you would enjoy doing or what your good at.....I try REAL hard not to judge people and I fail sometimes....especially like I said when it comes to my man checking someone else out...but that's what guys do and no woman can change THAT about a man...he's going to look...as long as they don't touch. It all boils down to jealousy...try not to take it too personally, just remember that they are feeling insecure and that's only normal, put yourself in their shoes....
I hope you are truly happy doing what your doing...but I also hope that it doesn't "run" you down...sometimes that kind of life can be rough and tough...I hope in the near future you find something more fulfilling for yourself.
Good Luck!!!

I used to be with a stripper ,well i lived with her for a while. Some strippers are in it for one thing for the money, no one is better then another but the question is ; Is this something I will grow old doing? Life is fast and by the time you know it when you are up there dancing and you don't find to get attention what will you fall on?Something to think about...hope you like this.

First of all i have nothing against strippers so therefore nothing against you , second of all stripping is not a professioin i mean if your trying to get by i think that its not that bad its money and if you like it then go ahead and be happyy with it. If u got the body and the moves then go ahead but i also think that you should prepare yourself because our body does not last that way for long.live your life and stop worring ablout what others say about you maybe their just jelous.

judge not that he not be judged. I learned along time ago that its best to accept people for who they are instead of what they do/are. Im an accountant in the office im all sophisticated and all that but once in out with my friends im the girl on the block. just be your self people will see what they want to see so dont let it bother you its who you are inside that counts.

no, and sure there are people out there that will assume the worst but your being a little judgemental yourself by assuming everybody will feel this way about you. Try not to let it bother you what other people think, if you enjoy your job be proud of it!

No, as long as it's not your life long dream or career. Sometimes people have to do what they got to do to get by. No one should judge anybody as long as your ok with it then what everyone else thinks shouldn't matter.

yes you are just as good, however your choice if profession has a bad stereotype. I do not think i am better than you and i like gettingto know people and why they do what they do in life, for a living and whoi they are.
