My girl friend was wearing shorts that were way to short and I told her to take them off and change them and she didnt so I smacked her to teach her a lesson, now shes mad at me, should I be worried?

Yes you should never put your hands on a woman no matter what. Being hit by a man especially the one you love is hurtful, disrespectful and just plain wrong. You say you hit her because you didn't like the short she had on and she won't take them off that makes you a bully. How could you hit a woman I just don't understand what in the world would make a man hit a woman. Do men now and days have no morals, respect or home training ? I have a question for you what was going through your mind when you hit her ? Also just to let you know things will never be the same between the two of you again you crossed a line that should never be crossed in a relationship. Just hope that she don't turn out to be one of them that will now no long have respect for you. In my opinion she should have picked up something and knocked your a$$ out. This has to be one of the most selfish, ignorant reason for you to have put your hands on her, if she is smart she will leave you now before it gets any worse because believe me it will.If you love her and you wanna make it work the best things to do are start kissing major a$$ and the 2 of you need to see a counselor. or at least you should to learn how to control your anger maybe anger management classes. That's the only way things are gonna get better.

You are such a controlling jerk! How dare you hit her! It is her choice whether or not she wears shorts, I'm suprised she hasn't broken up with you!!! You dont hurt a girl to teach her a lesson, you talk it out. If you keep this up, you are going to jail to be alone for the rest of your life!!! You are nothing without her, and it is a bad idea to hurt her. Yes, you should be worried! She could go to the cops with her fat lip, and you could be sued or jailed for assualt!! She has her proof right on her face!! Stay away from her or you will get hit back 10x harder than you hit her! I'm not saying I will be the one to do it, your poor girlfriend will!!! How dare you!!!

I believe you need professional help. You act as if your proud of what you done. YES you should be worried, because if it were me you would spend the night in jail and hopefully have assault charges brought against you. Your girlfriend should be more than mad at you. Do you really think she is going to stay with you after that? If shes smart she will leave. There are plenty of guys that will treat her with respect, which is something you will never do.
