NO it is doggine junk food. It is full of cheap filler and cheap ingredients.
Go to www.spoiled-rotten-pets.com and read the section about dog food. It will have a test to rate your dog food.
They sell several types of dog foods ones that they have eveulated and feel are good foods.
You can also buy the different brands of food they have at some stores and from the companies.
Feeding a high quality dog food ends up costing less and saving you time less poop scooping and money as you feed less food.
It is also far better for your dog than the cheap fillers and junk.

No it's horrible. Cheap. And if your vet said it was ok then you have a poorly educated vet when it comes to nutrition. Cheap food equals cheap ingredients which equals poor health. It's just like people. You eat McDonald's $0.99 cheeseburgers then you will suffer. . .
Try this book on nutrition and care: "The Complete Holistic Dog Book" by Jan Allegretti & Katy Sommers, DVM. It's great for nutritional information among other care for your dog so that your dog benefits the most!

They really have a pretty picture on the bag, don't they? The sign of a good dog food is that meat is the first ingredient listed on the label. Go read your label.

Yes, I have been feeding it to my dogs for a long time. They have a nice coat and do well with it. I alternate between the Healthy weight and Healthy coat formula.

You can always taste it to find out (lol) My dog Puppy Chow really likes it, and I have tried to feed him other brands so just see what your dog has a taste for.

I think it is fine, I mix in a little with the Eukeneuba large breed, and my dog goes for it.
